Inna Dudukina is an international vocalist, pianist, songwriter, arranger, composer, orchestrator, and producer. She had her academic formation in some of the most highly regarded music schools in the world. In Siberia, she attended Novosibirsk State College of Music majoring in both voice and piano, solidified her classical music background and jazz music theory foundations and then followed up in the United States of America, where she graduated as a Bachelor with a Dual Major in Performance / Contemporary Writing and Production and Minor in Music Production from Berklee College of Music.

Her performance technique, backed with perfect pitch and soulful playing has garnered attention and praise from her peers, as well as specialized critics and fellow musicians; in her writing she specializes in incorporating Eastern harmonies, particularly Balkan diatonic music techniques, with Western film scoring traditions and multimedia performance settings.

Born in the heart of Siberia, Russia, Inna has developed her passion for music since her early days. She grew up in Novosibirsk, a city with an impressive musical environment, where she began her studies at the young age of five and was well known locally as a classical pianist by the age of seven. She graduated from Novosibirsk State Music School at the age of 14, and enrolled in Novosibirsk College of Music. In 2004, Inna graduated with honors with a degree in Jazz Vocals and continued her studies there as a jazz pianist for another two and a half years.

In 2009, she won the competition for the Kremensky Full Tuition Scholarship Award given for studies at the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.

At Berklee, Inna majored in Contemporary Writing and Production, and Performance, with a minor in Music Production. In addition to her jazz studies, Inna was influenced by Eastern European and Middle Eastern music leading to experimentations in fusing those genres with modal jazz and then later rock. She performed at a large number of concerts and events at Berklee. her arrangements and original compositions were featured at prestigious events like a Middle Eastern Festival (2013-2015), Berklee Commencement Concert (2014-2015), her collaboration with Berklee Indian Ensemble, “Jiya Jale Cover”, ended up going viral.

 

These days Inna is working on writing for and performing with Balkan fusion band “Dashina”, arranging and preparing to perform at an upcoming Middle Eastern Festival featuring Tigran Hamasyan, as long as  starting recording for her solo project where she will be featured as a vocalist as well as a pianist.
